René Pérez Joglar was born in San Juan – Puerto Rico on February 23 of 1978. Also known by his nickname "Resident" is a rapper , composer and Puerto Rican producer . Founder and lead singer of Calle 13. This band joined with his brothers Mercedes Ileana Cabra and Eduardo Cabra. Since 2015 began a soloist. His lyrics are recognized as being of social content and political content.

Trajectory

As leader of Calle 13 has won 24 Grammys , making it the most golden Latin megaphones acquired by his music.

He has received awards for his social commitment , as well as being the face in campaigns UNICEF.
